Cooking Tip

Vanilla Extract
Use 100% pure vanilla extract, or use vanilla beans for an even better vanilla flavoring. Buy vanilla beans, cut a slit lengthwise along the bean, open and scrape the seeds from the inside. The fresh vanilla is wonderful, especially in this recipe mixed with the apple flavors.

Brunch Tip

Assorted Nuts
Set out assorted nuts like cashews, walnuts, pecans and macadamia nuts. Reserve some of the nuts, crush finely and place in small bowls for topping fruit and egg dishes.
