Cranberry Walnut Bread

 

Ingredients -

1 Large Egg, beaten
1-1/2 cups Whole Milk
2 tablespoons Canola Oil
3 cups All-Purpose Flour
1 cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
4 teaspoons Baking Powder
1 cup Dried Cranberries
1/2 cup Chopped Walnuts

 
Preparation:

1. Turn the oven to 350 degrees and preheat.

2. Spray a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.

3. Combine the egg, milk and oil in a medium bowl and mix well.

4. Combine the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, cranberries and walnuts in another bowl and mix well.

5. Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture and mix until the dough is moist.

6. Transfer the batter into the prepared pan and bake until done, which takes about 1 hour 15 minutes.

7. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
