1. Turn the oven to 275 degrees and preheat.
2. Arrange the pecans on a baking sheet and bake until lightly toasted, which takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
3. Remove the pecans from the oven and set aside to cool.
4. Turn the oven up to 325 degrees.
5. Melt the butter onto a sheet pan.
6. Spread the nut mixture over pan and bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
7. Remove the pan from the oven and cool.
8. Serve and enjoy.
