Broccoli, Crab and Cheddar Quiche

 

Ingredients -

1 (9-inch) Unbaked Pie Shell
1 cup Chopped Fresh Broccoli
1 (4-1/4 to 6 ounces) can Crabmeat, drained, rinsed and patted dry
1 cup (4 ounces) Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
3 Eggs
1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1/4 teaspoon Coarse Salt
1/4 teaspoon White Pepper

 
Preparation:

1. Turn the oven to 350 degrees and preheat.

2. Using a fork, prick the bottom of the pie shell and bake for 7 minutes.

3. Place the broccoli and crabmeat into the bottom of the baked pie shell.

4. Cover with the cheese.

5. Beat together the eggs in a small bowl.

6. Add the salt, pepper and cream and mix well.

7. Pour the egg mixture into the center of the shell and spread it out evenly.

8. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until the egg is set and the top is golden brown.
