1. In a large skillet, add the butter and onion and sauté until tender, which takes about 1 to 2 minutes.
2. Add the shrimp and cook for 2 minutes, stirring gently.
3. Season with 1/4 teaspoon salt.
4. Add the wine and stir to blend.
5. Simmer the mixture for 1 minute.
6. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
7. In a bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, cocktail sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and a dash of pepper.
8. Add the shrimp and toss to coat.
9. Pour the mixture into the pie shell.
10. Sprinkle the Swiss cheese over the top.
11. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
12. Allow to sit for 5 minutes before serving.
