1. Turn the oven to 325 degrees and preheat.
2. Add the butter to a small saucepan and melt over medium heat.
3. Add the brown sugar and the juice from the pineapple rings.
4. Bring the mixture to a boil and boil for 5 minutes then remove the pan from the heat.
5. Place the bone-in ham in a roasting pan face down.
6. Score the skin like a checkerboard with a sharp knife.
7. Push in one clove to each square in the checkerboard.
8. Baste the brown sugar sauce over the entire ham.
9. Roast for 1 hour, and then baste again.
10. Decorate the ham with the pineapple rings and roast for another 30 minutes.
11. Baste again and serve.
