Wild Rice Casserole

 

Ingredients -

1-1/2 cups Uncooked Long-Grained Rice
1/2 cup Uncooked Wild Rice
1 envelope Dry Onion Soup Mix
1 tablespoon snipped Fresh Parsley (optional)
4 cups Water
1 bunch Green Onions, chopped
8 ounces Fresh or Canned Mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup Butter, melted

 
Preparation:

1. In a large bowl, combine the rice, soup mix, parsley, water, green onions, mushrooms and butter and mix well.

2. Pour the mixture into a crock pot that you have sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.

3. Cook on HIGH for 2-1/2 hours, covered, occasionally stirring.
